Alex Mullen (Australia, 1989) perches between the observed and the imagined. The combined use of scrutiny, reference images, memory and invention generate scenes which feel familiar, yet are skewed by perspective and color distortions. Alex’s works have been part of many exhibitions in Australia and at Phillips in London. He completed his BA in fine art at the Adelaide Central School of Art, Australia.
