British artist Alexi Marshall participates in a group show at Sara Zanin Gallery, in Rome.
"Dancing at the edge of the world" is a group exhibition curated by Marcelle Joseph, including works by ten different artists.
The exhibition is a centre of riotous feminist activity where the body is ubiquitous but always linked to the mind. The artists in this show invade their own privacy to explore embodiment and representation in a provocative and self-realising approach of empowerment. "There will be artworks that have an eruptive feeling that echo the universes that can be found in Le Guin’s novels that yearn for a feminist or non-binary utopia - a new universalism of sorts, devoid of inequality, domination and exploitation and full of feminine pleasure."
Artists participating in the show:
Proudick (Lindsey Mendick and Paloma Proudfoot)
Dates:7 February - 27 March 2020
