"Rendered Reality" with Shinuk Suh

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

Shinuk Suh is part of a two person show at Korean Cultural Centre UK.

Rendered Reality features artists Joonhong Min and Shinuk Suh who have both recently completed residencies in the UK. Both artists draw on common experiences of growing up in Seoul and migrating to the UK, exploring feelings of tension, alienation and hyper-sensitivity produced by their encounters with two very divergent cultures.

The exhibition was created as part of the UK Residency Report Showcase, a launching programme that has been developed to support emerging artists who have recently completed a UK based residency programme. In addition to exhibiting works produced during their respective residencies, this show will also include a series of new works that have never been presented in the UK before.

Rendered Reality is organised by the Korean Cultural Centre UK in collaboration with the Koppel Project and Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop.

During the Opening Reception, a performance piece will be presented by Joonhong Min in collaboration with artist Ziad Nagy.

Opening: Monday 9 March, 18:00- 20:00

Dates: 10 March - 18 April

Location: Grand Buildings, 1-3 Strand, London WC2N 5BW
