Yvonne Feng

Yvonne Feng (China, 1989) depicts the instability and the political situation of her home country, exploring the routine of the everyday and the utopian hope of the green happy field behind a concrete wall. Her works are deeply autobiographical, drafting from her memories and experiences, negotiating fears and hopes through colours and composition. Yvonne is completing her practice-led PhD at Slade after and MA at the Royal College of Art. She won the Coldstream Prize and her works are part of the UCL Museum of Art.
