Zsofia Schweger (Hungary, 1989) is a graduate with a Master’s from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL. In addition to solo exhibitions in London, New York, Budapest and Palma de Mallorca, her work has been shown in the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts three years running from 2016 to 2018, in Bloomberg New Contemporaries at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and the Bluecoat in Liverpool, as well as at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest. Her paintings were featured as Critic’s Choice in the Financial Times in 2016 and she was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe in 2017. She has been supported by several generous prizes, including the Jealous Prize, Griffin Art Prize, the Alice C. Cole Award, and the ‘One To Watch’ Award. Her works are in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Columbia University, the Brookfield Corporate Art Collection and Soho House in London.
